Andrew Wolthers, PE, LEED AP • Principal | Senior Project Manager

Originally from Silver City, New Mexico, Andrew wins the award for “furthest traveled.” After graduating from Northern Arizona University, Andrew and his wife—his high school sweetheart—moved to Nashville in 2004. After 13 years managing, planning, and designing civil engineering projects, Andrew (alongside Jack Parker, Jeff Heinze, and Phillip Piercy) opened Catalyst Design Group in 2017. In addition to his role as president of the firm, he serves as principal and senior project manager for a wide variety of projects throughout Middle Tennessee and beyond. On the weekends, you can find Andrew spending time with family, either visiting his oldest son at the University of Kentucky or following his youngest son on the soccer pitch.

People might be surprised to learn:
Andrew played college basketball at NAU and was coached by current Mississippi State head basketball coach Ben Howland. The 15-seeded NAU Lumberjacks pushed St. Johns to the brink of a huge upset in the first round of the 2000 NCAA tournament before losing in the final seconds, 61-56.
