DESIGN TECHNICIAN
Catalyst Design Group is currently seeking a full-time Design Technician to join our team in any of our three office locations (Nashville, Murfreesboro, Orlando). The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Project Manager in a team environment and will be responsible for the preparation of site civil construction documents and related tasks for projects across various market sectors and locations.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of conceptual/schematic site plans including layout, grading & drainage, and utilities.
Preparation of construction documents including demolition plans, layout plans, erosion control plans, grading and drainage plans, stormwater management, utilities, site details, and transportation improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in: AutoCAD/Civil 3D; Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to meet fixed deadlines and work efficiently while managing multiple projects
High school diploma and a 2- or 4-year degree in CAD drafting/design technology
Experience with site/land development projects
Well-organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Strong communication skills (written, oral, and listening), and good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work and interface well in a collaborative project team environment
