Austin-Tindall Park

The 100-acre expansion of Austin-Tindall Park adds 13 multipurpose fields to the existing 115-acre, 11-field destination tournament facility. The master plan features a central concession/restroom/meeting building; enhanced queueing for vehicle ticketing; five acres of competitive paintball fields; 1,100 turf parking spaces; RV spaces; a 20,000-SF maintenance and storage building; sports turf farm; and a helicopter landing area adjacent to the fire station for emergency airlifts. The master plan follows work previously completed by Catalyst staff, which included a FIFA stadium field and four multipurpose fields with a central scoring structure. Development of the project’s construction documents is anticipated to begin in 2023, with construction and an opening to follow in late 2024.
