Sertoma Baseball Complex

In need of a complete field and spectator area hardscape renovation, Catalyst staff developed the site plan and construction documents for the overhaul and enhancement of the Sertoma Baseball Complex. Following a design-build process, the project included the renovation of the existing five fields; replacement of all field lighting, dugouts, bullpens, fencing, and scoreboards; and the correcting of longstanding stormwater and drainage issues in the spectator area of the complex. The team utilized an innovative approach to improving the field grading and drainage—adding a low retaining wall along each backstop and raising the infield area a few inches.
