Chain of Lakes Park Master Plan

Catalyst staff completed the master plan for the City of Winter Haven’s 70-acre Chain of Lakes Park. The project featured the addition of a 60,000-SF field house which was constructed and opened in 2020 with an upgraded theater and recreation building. The master plan also included the renovation of the aquatics center and an overall new design for the existing open space areas of this lakefront park. The new open space facilities include four collegiate baseball fields; a large “commons;” two multipurpose fields; two multipurpose/event parking fields; and a waterfront promenade that features a restaurant, amphitheater, playground, and docks for visiting boats and seaplanes.

In September of 2021, Catalyst Design Group was engaged by the City to revisit the master plan and prepare to develop construction drawings for the balance of the improvements.
