Catalyst provided landscape architectural and master planning services for four parks for St. Johns County. In addition to leading the master planning effort, Catalyst led the public involvement process and provided construction documents, including hardscape, site furnishings, and accent lighting, landscape and irrigation. The four parks range in size and features.

  • Nocatee Park includes 50 acres of multipurpose fields and sports courts; restroom/concession buildings; plazas; an outdoor fitness area; event lawn; playground; picnic pavilions; a walking path; and a stormwater pond.

  • Northwest Park includes 63 acres of multipurpose fields and sports courts; restroom/concession buildings; plazas; outdoor fitness areas; an event lawn; playground; a walking path; picnic pavilion; and a stormwater pond.

  • Shearwater Park is 10 acres, featuring a community center; outdoor lighted basketball courts; pickleball courts; parking lots; playgrounds; outdoor fitness areas; plazas; an event lawn; a walking path; and stormwater pond/rain garden.

  • Silverleaf Park is a 40-acre park, including 1 stadium field and 6-7 multipurpose fields; restroom/concession buildings; an observation tower; plazas; outdoor fitness areas; event lawn; playground; picnic pavilions; a walking path; parking; and a stormwater pond.
