Taylor Place Master Development
This multi-phased, mixed-use development is located in the historic Germantown neighborhood and features new construction and preservation of historic structures. Design elements for the entire development reflect the nature of the historic site and intentionally tie into previous and future phases of development. As Phase II, the Taylor Place project includes designing and constructing a new two-story office building and the adaptive reuse of a 75-year-old warehouse facility, Werthan Building.
602 Taylor Place is a two-story commercial building offering 18,700 SF of office and retail space. The first floor houses retail and leasing space, while the second includes creative office space.
The Werthan Building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, includes the historic preservation and renovation of the existing structure. Once complete, the facility will provide 66,000 SF of office space.
In addition to 602 Taylor and the Warehouse Building, the Taylor Place Master Development includes two new multifamily buildings and a parking garage to support the development. The first residential building, “The Hamilton” will provide 85 apartment units; the second, Hume House, will include 245 units. A parking garage is also planned to support residential, office, and retail functions.
