Legacy Pointe at UCF Continuing Care
Retirement Community
Catalyst Design Group staff provided master planning and entitlements, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services for this $80M Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) associated with the UCF Foundation and Greystone Communities. The CCRC is a senior living facility that provides a continuum of care from stand-alone villas to a complex with an independent living facility (ILF), assisted living facility (ALF), skilled nursing and memory care units, and a health center. The first phase of the CCRC included approximately 32 villas, 136 ILF units, 32 ALF units, and approximately 100,000 SF of skilled nursing and memory care units, a health center, and support areas. Our staff also facilitated a Planned Development re-zone and comprehensive plan amendment for the 59-acre property, roughly 14 acres of which were subsequently sold to a potential developer.
